If Only She Knew - A Rocket to the Moon
So it's Monday and I am at the library. I had nothing to do at home especially since the Internet won't be coming back til this Thursday. So in the mean time I am wasting away here, haha. I went camping last week. Fun stuff, despite all the not so fun stuff that we encountered...like not actually being able to camp! It sucked, however we found a way to make it fun. And they know what I mean =).
I'm going fish shopping this Wednesday for my empty fish tank that my mom wants to fill again. And then renting a movie with the bf and watching it at home. I hope to get a cute fish, hopefully one that isn't sick because they tend to be sick everytime I buy one T__T. The movie we're going to rent is Fight Club and hopefully Battle Royale if blockbuster supplies it; which I think they should otherwise, they wouldn't have a very nice forgein film section. I wonder if they have this other japanese movie? I guess I'll go and see for my self.
To the pass the time without internet at my house, I watch downloaded cartoons that my sister's bf gets for us and play solitaire and all the other strategic computer games that it comes equipped with. Well, I have nothing else to look for other than the visits and outings with other people besides my family, OH and a concert that I hope I get to go to. =)

"In My Life" - The Beatles
In my life, I have been to many concerts, and above all my favorite ones are No Doubt and The Offspring. THEY WERE AMAZING. So good live, great show and funny. Very entertaining. I'm glad I've been a fan of The Offspring since I was 11 XD. So honored to be in their presence. =) Anyway...
Today was a pretty cool day. First thing I did was go to a convention. It was a huge industry building run by the Frank & Son company in Rowland Heights. It's a trading, selling, and buying convention of all classic collecting items such as Magic: The Gathering, YGO, Nascar, Hot Wheels, Barbie, Matell, Disney and so on. So the night before my sister had told me that she and her boyfriend were going June 6th. They told us to round up our Pokemon cards to see if we can sell them for some decent amount of money. As were told, we did and we went. We looked around to see if they were even sellign Pokemon cards to begin with. Unfortunately, they were not. There was only one stand that had Pokemon cards and they didn't buy any of ours. First of all, ours were in Japanese and second, they were really old but in mint condition. She woul donly buy the Platnium, Diamond and Pearl series (the ones that are actually being bought now because they're new XD). So that was a bust. However, the whole trip wasn't. My boyfriend found an N64 game that he's been trying to find: 007 Golden Eye and I found a Dreamcast game that my siblings and I have been trying to find: Chu Chu Rocket! We've only played the demo, so now the real thing was even better. It gets really intense =D.
After going to the Frank & Son convention, my brother, boyfriend and I parted ways with my sis and her boyfriend and ventured off to IKEA. We looked around the showroom to see if there are any comfortable yet affordable drafting/office chairs for my mom's drafting table. Right now we're using this dining chair and it's rather short for a drafting table, haha. We looked arounfd and found four possible choices. She wants one that goes up pretty high so we looked for the best-looking, most comfortable and most affordable yet. It was pretty high too, standing tall at 20 1/8" with pleather and armrests to boot. My mom liked what she saw. So soon enough we'll have to heave the ol' dining chair back to the garage/car port XD. After looking for the swivel chair, we set off to look for a book stand for my birthday gift to my boyfriend. We looked everywhere to ano avail. "We'll just look in a place like Target or Wal-Mart or something.." says Jared. We drive home and drop my brother off while trying out Chu Chu Rocket and eating some beef and rice before watching: Up!!!
I was so excited to go and see it. I've been wanting to see it ever since the previews that were shown a few weeks ago. It was such a good movie, really sad, really funny, and really action-packed at the same time. I recommend watching it for ALL. Haha, now my next movies I'd want to see are Year One, that one movie with Ryan Reynolds coming out with Sandra Bullock and 9 by Disney's Pixar. =) Yep! Look out movie theatres...you're about to make some extra money =)
We came home after watching Up and played monopoly again with my dad; only this time it was The Simpson's Monopoly =D It was the traditional version (which kinda confused me at times) but it was fun nonetheless. My dad was 4th, I was 3rd, Jared 2nd, and my bro 1st. He's won twice in a row. Talk about karma and the bad luck I've been having ever since I told them that I had a stratagem. Oh well, hopefully my luck turns around next week--when we play, yet again, haha!

Smash - The Offspring
There's not much going on with me. My boyfriend and I made a band with just the two of us now since the drummer in our other band quit a few weeks before a gig at their church. I was excited to play with them but now it's not possible until we find a decent (or even better) drummer than he was. On to other business, the band my boyfriend and I made is 5 Five and Under, haha! I know, I know, pretty lame, but hey! We're a small people ^o^. We've been practicing some covers and have yet to post them onto our youtube channel. We're also working on an original song which is has been taking us about 3 months to do. This song writing stuff is hard business and I finall understand why so many artists come up with cd's in about 3 years or 2 years later after an album had just come out.
Life at the moment is pretty good. The only thing is I've been playing too much Monopoly for my own good that my winning streak has now become a losing streak. However, i hope my luck will change this weekend, if we do play yet again...I think we've been playing monopoly ever since my boyfriend's birthday; when I just had to buy him a Monopoly game set. That's when the boardgame craze came a-fluttering out. Oh well, I guess it's a good thing isn't it? It's something that brings my family and loved ones together; creating memories that can last us a lifetime. Yeah, that's what it's all about.
So I guess life is not just pretty good, but pretty grand.

Skeptics and True Believers - The Academy Is...
I woke up today with a surprise. My cell phone was ringing with a notification of several text messages. I quickly picked it up to check who it was. There were some that were from my phone service saying that my account has been suspended, and I was like..."What in the fu-" And then I saw two others that said it just started, so now I was like..."Okaay.." Typical for my phone to be messing up like that. It's always been that way since I've had this phone service. As frustrating it is, I wasn't that surprised until I saw another message.
It was from someone who I'd really consider an acquaintence now. I wasn't sure about what I was doing last night when I multi-texted people telling them that I have a new number. I was rather hesitant to let this person know that I had one, especially since past experiences made things more awkward. So many miscommunications and situations that have fleeted through the summer days are now biting me back. I wish I had never started them.
I ate brunch with my sister before she left for class. I was going to be home alone with my brother again, playing that mmorpg. In which I think I'll do right now. I'm just all out of the swing of things right now, and it's hard to put into words why I am how I am.
My heart was hurting again this morning. I still fear of going to sleep because something may happen while I'm not conscious or paying attention to what I am doing. I think that would be the worst way to go; not knowing what happened the night it does happen. Thus I sleep less and wake up all too sudden. Another factor to why my heart is having problems. Well, I'll be going now. I think I'll write again tonight.

This Is A Story of A Girl - Three Doors Down
Hello :D This is my first blog ^__^. I haven't written in a blog for a really long time, so I might be a little rusty on how to tell of what happens throughout my days (especially to those who might actually read it, haha). Rex pretty much nudged the idea, so since I'm a writer I shall write.
Today wasn't very interesting. Since I'm not taking winter session, I'm pretty much free all the time...T__T. Not good. I need to keep my mind in motion (and my body also)--getting a little...y'know, fat. Even though people say I'm not, I think I am. BUT anyway I played this mmorpg (multi-mass online role playing game) with my brother and sister. Yes, a nerd game >__<. The secret's out, haha. Did house chores, ate and played some more. My cell phone came to life again today, and I'm pretty sure some of you have been notified already ^__^. So that's making me happy right now.
On another note, I've been having some heart problems lately. I don't know how serious it is, but I'll be getting that checked by a doctor soon. I hope it's not a potential disease or something that would be fatal to my health. Sometimes I'm afraid to go to sleep at night, which is why I am writing in this blog... .___. Ironically sleeping late is bad for your heart, as well as waking up late. Maybe tomorrow I'll start sleeping early, haha. On other days I pass the time by trying to make up new songs with my guitar. I don't know, maybe it's the new rush I'm getting from joining my boyfriend's band =). Even if I am just rhythm guitar, it still makes me feel happy =D. (Sorry Rex, lol).
I started reading the first book of Twilight. It's kind of difficult to read it since I watched the movie first. However, as I progressed through the book it wasn't so bad. The only problem is, is that I'm not able to visualize my own characters and situations. I have the movie's actors and actresses fixed in my mind, with added detail. Despite that I'm enjoying it a lot. I haven't finished another book that I was reading in the fall, Geek Love. It's not what it sounds like, it totally threw me off by the title. But it's a good read--complicated, but good.
Other than that, I have nothing else to say even though I have already said a lot in my first post. I guess I'm drawn to typing a lot ^__^. Which reminds me, I haven't drawn a good picture in a while. I should do that too. Maybe I'll post it =D. Mmmkay, well I'm about tired now. I'll be going to sleep. Good night!
